My First Rock Band Experience
I first played Guitar Hero some time back in 2007. I have almost no musical talent (I can play Hot Cross Buns on the recorder and hit a triangle), so it wasn’t easy for me, but I eventually got the hang of it (on easy mode).
When I arrived at #thebeachhouse in Venice Beach a couple of weeks ago, the guys got out Rock Band, and I was thrown in to singing.
Side note: Sure, I sing to a song I like (I rarely listen to music, so I have a few select songs/bands I really like), but I have no idea if I’m singing in the correct tone, pitch, etc. The only song I always tell people I know all the words to is Barbie Girl. Surprisingly, the lyrics to some of the songs in Rock Band were refreshed in my memory with the karaoke-style text on the screen.
