I’m boycotting Scrabble/Facebook

EFFF YOU SCRABBLE/FACEBOOKRachel (in America), Pas (in Canada), and I wanted to play Scrabble together on Facebook, but NoOOooooooo… “Invalid Country” for Derek.

I’m going to blame Scrabble on this one. Usually it’s the content provider that doesn’t want their content shown in another country.

(Another example is all the shows on Hulu. The American networks don’t want their content being seen outside of America, so Hulu blocks other countries.)

I am going to boycott Scrabble (and Facebook — if anyone thinks that will help) until this idiocy is resolved!!!

Note on the image that the banner ads are American (they link to scrabble.ea.com); most ads on the Internet these days are location based. The fact that these aren’t shows that they know I live in Australia, but they still show me American ads.
