The one factor that is constant, and how I look up a patient&#039;s previous blood bank history is by birth-date. Because I have a lot of medical, laboratory experience, I always check at least three other places before I permanently enter &quot;No Previous Record Found,&quot; when I am testing for blood typing, antibody screening or crossmatching blood. In other words, it is acceptable to modify your birth-date in certain places on the internet, but when it comes to serious issues - stick with the &quot;God given one,&quot; it may save YOUR life!</description>
